Yes, there are many major companies that buy traffic in the millions. It still amazes me that when website owners purchase a product or service and does not get the desired result, the word scam comes out quickly.

As an owner of several websites, I take full responsibility when my programs work and when they don`t work. I have tried several traffic exchanges with very little success. I don`t scream scam, I look at what I`m promoting and then try to make proper changes to my site.
Might just about be the only statement in this whole thread that makes any sense.

Here is my personal advice. When it comes to buying traffic, regardless of where that traffic comes from opinions and anecdotal evidence are WORTHLESS.

Tracking...testing...tweaking...knowing your maximum CPA for your offer...what you will pay per lead. Thsi is all that matters...AND when it comes to generating traffic, I buy all of my traffic.

Why?

Because generating traffic does not make me money...making sales makes me money, and I only spend time on the things that make me money...period.

Conversions are my responsibility.

If you are purchasing traffic at bulk rates your offer can be loosely targeted and you will still make tons of money. It just all depends.

Anyone who is doing 6-7 figures online is buying traffic, and looking to make the traffic they are purchsing convert even better than the last campaign.

I recently purchased some traffic in bulk that was very loosely targeted. In fact, my conversion rate was less than 1/2% traffic to lead...BUT, since my end of the deal (converting that traffic to sales) is solid, I paid less per lead on that campaign than any other that month.

Here are some bone crushing numbers for you...

The BIG BOYS are buying in bulk...I am talking in the billions and turning these billions of ad impressions into a million or more in profit...PER MONTH.

I don't care what anyone says...The search engines, including Google in its almighty power, only account for around 10-15% of the total traffic online. It may even be less, or a little more. I am sure it is no more than 20%.

The bulk of the traffic happening online is being generated differently. Media is purchased not generated for free.
