After finding out our company's been bamboozled by one of "the best" in the industry by running our site on dual 450mhz machines, we are looking for new servers to run our site.

We're looking into a maxed out Xserve from Apple for a quick fix, and possibly a Superdome down the line.

What is the ultimate, solid-as-a-tank, Formula 1 performance server that we can purchase today?
