I've just come across another one that works differently. It's at
www.addme.com, it's called EzTraffix and it's free.
You have to sign up and make EzTraffix your home page. Each time you open a browser, a member's site appears in it, and you earn 1 credit which means that your site will get one appearance in another member's browser.
The difference here is that real people are viewing your site, and occassionally, one of them may just be interested in it. The .dk system is that nobody is viewing the site - it's just a browser moving from site to site, and the traffic is worthless.
I can't see any drawback in the EzTraffix system at the moment. The fact that only signed-up members will see your site means that the new traffic will be a comparitively few people, even though each may see the site many times.
I guess it might be worth a dabble. Some of those new forums that people have opened might benefit. The idea of operating a similar system for forum members here to sign up to is crossing my mind.

They claim to have 80,000+ signs ups. The don't say how many of them are actually making use of it (still have EzTraffix as the homepage). If anyone signs up, please let us know how it goes.
