Ok, I'll give you that, DMOZ don't have to provide info
but...
any 2 bits directory script have option which will prevent another submission attempt if URL is sitting in pending bin until it's reviewed and added or rejected.
Why can't DMOZ to use the same option?
I know you will say: why should they? so I'll tell you now: because that is how Internet community should work if members aren't stupid idiots who careless about the rest of us.
Now, if site is accepted, then owner will see it and as result will stop posting in every forum "when my site will be listed in that freaking DMOZ?" and "I'm waiting for 2 years, should I re-submit?" and if URL is rejected, then let them submit again without pushing their sites to the back of the list.
How hard it can be if member of Internet Community isn't some ignorant SOB?
