I'm definitely sticking with my premise here.

And I wasn't even taking into account how bad an AdWords campaign can be if its configured with the defaults, like BroadMatching. "Let Google optimize my ads". LOL

People cycle through AdWords like they're shopping for price.

When they hit search results, they think its a tacit approval of the quality of the site.

I'm sure this will vary according to industry, but in general it seems to apply.
