I noticed a staffmember edited the users post for linking so I'm guessing the only purpose was blatant self promotion.
I agree that dedicated hosting is the way to go but you have to be a millionaire to afford it. The only option is dedicated server sharing with one or more other parties to split the cost but it can be rather challenging to find reliable partners.
I'm lucky in that I've known the person I share with for years so for us hosting on a dedicated server is a no brainer, it's certainly far more reliable than anything I've come across to date.
I would note though that all dedicated server companies are not created equal, you can certainly pay a fortune for crappy hosting there as well.
