Delete the IE shortcut and put the FF instead, rename it to "Internet" and there you go...
That's how I made my girlfriend switch to FF and she loves it now.
And when another program or the operating system
accidentally opens an IE window she goes like: "WTF is this!" and closes it and opens FF instead
