Personally I started a marketing blog a couple months ago and to my surprise my make money blog does 10 times better. What I think is funny the marketing blog helps bring traffic which = money though on my make money blog I show people lots of different ways to make money online without a web presence. So to answer your question not a ton I worked endlessly on my marketing blog to the point where rather than have other lists of article sites, social bookmarking, and other marketing platforums I use my own blog though it has not seen the success I had hoped.
