I've had my blog up and running since 2008 and it's currently PR3.

The domain age is 7 months 10 days (According to Whois created on 29.11.2008 ).
Now another blog that has been barely online for 1 month:

1 months 12 days (According to Whois created on 27.05.2009) and is also a PR3.
What I am curious about is, how did this person manage a PR3 in 1 month with barely any backlinks, and the last
PR update being on the SAME DAY that the domain was registered?
The domain was registered on May 27th 2009, which is the same day that Google did a
PR update.
