Some very valuable points there. I just thought it would increase the IP count by one thus rendering it a pointless task moving a domain.
I have never seen a case where crosslinking is bad and all I want to do is give off some Page Rank from my portfolio to my client sites on the same IP and they link back on every page in the footer credit... like every other site does inadvertently.
