You should just lay a texture over it (cracks) and lower the opacity. Then mess around with hue/sat to get the old newspaper effect I understand you are trying to achieve. If that turns out to be too hard for you, look into filters that you can download. Theres probably a filter for almost anything you may need. Google it duuuuude!
