Bush was better in that he didn't fall asleep this time which was great, he was much more passionate and vocal about his beliefs. I believe him and Kerry were tied when it comes to style points. But on substance, Bush added nothing new, he made no case for any of his plans for the future and spent more time talking about how bad kerry sucks then about either a) the past 4 years, or b) the next 4 years.
By far the most interesting segment to me was the question regarding state funding for abortions. I think they both stated their views very clearly, there wasn't much room to debate their points since abortion is based so much on faith and so little on facts. Bush made it very clear what his stance was, which will strengthen the support he already has, but I don't think it added any new voters.
