I haven't analized the logs yet to see where the drop in traffic comes in; If it is lost ground on some popular terms, maybe a drop in links from sources other than Google... It will take me a couple of days to analise his old traffic patterns and current, make a comparison. I don't want to do this if everyone is seeing lower traffic (US election, hurricanes in florida, mt. saint. helen, and what not?). This client wants results yesterday, and while I think we don't have much to worry about in the long term, him wanting results sooner then later results in a lot of checking up on things like that where I could be spending the time on actual SEO... I want to make sure that this is not part of a much larger picture and that this kind of research into his stats is going to give us some answers that are in this case uniqe to him.
