Got this about a month ago. Of course, the Internet is full of assclowns that have nothing better to do than spam people complaining about imagined wrongs - usually people who are too much of cowards to utter a beep in real, face-to-face life.
Site5.com may be cheaper, but then they don't have 24/7 phone support either. In fact, they don't have a live person answering the phone during business hours even. The primary reason V7 customers choose V7 is for the customer support. 24/7 phone support, with a real, live English speaking person answering the phone.
Another reason they choose V7 is for the daily backups. Not just daily, we also have weekly and monthly backups. And that's peace of mind, and they have come in handy more than once when customers have accidentally messed up their own sites. Ask site5 for backups and they tell you to get a dedicated server and do your own backups.
And the bandwidth of that plan is half the bandwidth we offer.

I am sure that there are a lot of more affordable hosts out there, but thank God their customers are mature enough to not go spamming me every time they think their host is a better bargain.
