true, but they sometimes have that subconcience effect.

most in the know say no just becasue they thing that at their low prices they must be garbage. it does not mean that they are bad, just that people assume a value based on price.

for example, a while ago I doubled the price of my ebook and get better feedback, sell at least as many, and less bad customers. since they paid more on average they also tend to value it more. If I gave that same ebook away free potentially many of them would not care about it at all.
