Dropped domains cons and pros.
There is lots of misconception regarding Dropped Domains.
I started this Thread to get read of this misconception (specially my own), ones and for all. So please feel free to share you own experience on this topic.
If I understand wright what called Dropped domain is domain that wasn't renewed and after some short period of time domain companies catch this domain and placed on auction.
From my own experience:
This domains can have good aged back links from authority websites like wiki, dmoz and other High quality sites with .edu .gov or just very relevant .org sites, which brings trust and authority to your dropped domain. So that makes it valuable and strong domain.
I know there is can be hidden issues like: back links can be removed and you can lose all the stuff mentioned above, but in case you made good analise of the domain and bought it, you placed 100% unique and relevant content to what was on the site before, you placed some new quality back links to it for better indexing and since 3 month all of old back links is still in place, and you positions is growing. Will it be still considered a Dropped domain and what is the cons of it?
