I am guessing you are trying to do the same thing I am. Which is how I got to this page tonight. I want two completely different web hosts for the same domain. I was planning on having 2 DNS pointers to the primary and 2 to the secondary. I haven't found a 100% reliable web host in five years so I figure two 90%'s might get me a virtual 100% uptime. I was down 12 hours this weekend. It's painful not to be up. If the DNS server is down for one it should timeout and go to the other provider. Anyone try this? I email ipower web to see if they did "secondary web hosting". Should be easy if they give static IP addresses per domain. Anyone know if they do?
