Yeah I know people who do it alot, I've got a pretty good habit if anything would be in a < head>< /head> tag its in one file and that's always the first I include, it also opens the body and the last file closes it... you'll never see < head> or < body> tags in any file other than header.php or footer.php on my server ^_^ its a good way to help keep things straight.
