I don't see any harm of adding Optima on a style sheet, as long as there alternatives specified in case the user doesn't have the font-

font-family: Optima, Verdana, Lucida, Arial,
Helvetica, sans-serif;

I guess it all depends on how important it is to have this particular font, what purpose it's going to be used for and what sort of site it is.
