An addon domain allows you to reach a subdomain when entering the name of the addon domain into a browser.
For example, if yourdomain.com is parked on anotherdomain.com, going to
http://www.yourdomain.com in a browser will bring up anotherdomain.com
The whm tweak settings will only prevent:
- Allow Creation of Parked/Addon Domains that are not registered
- Allow Creation of Parked/Addon Domains that resolve to other servers (ie domain transfers)
- Allow users to Park/Addon Domains on top of domains owned by other users
- Prevent users from parking/adding on common internet domains. (ie hotmail.com, aol.com)
Just make sure your dns as resolved proprely, since this must be the problem.
