Any coders around messing around with AJAX? (XMLHttpRequest)

think of constantly updating iframes, but not in iframes
i found the code for a ajax chat program tutorial, messed around with it
added user registration, userlist, timestamping, and a thing that takes urls posted and makes them into a link
also, f`d up the stylesheet some

EDIT: oh yeah, the stylesheet might be f`d up, and it might have little to no functionality in Internet Explorer, but thats just cuz of how I did the div's and positioning stuff.. so uh.. download

*site looks fine to me, but other screen res they say they get scrollbars and stuff, so yeah, hopefully you can atleast see its functionality
