In this thread we want to track the contestants progress. A few things we want to take note of:
- URL of Page
- Number of Inbound Links at Start
- Number of Inbound Links at Finish
- Age of Domain
- Total Page IBL vs LinkDomain
- Primary SEO Tactic
- Source of Linkage
- Keyword Density
- Number of Outbound Links on Page
- Percenatge of OBL as Total of Links on Page
- Heading Tags (Yes or No)
- Bold (Yes or No)
- Italics (Yes or No)
- Percentage of IBL Using Keywords as Anchor Text
- Keywords in Page Title (Yes or No)
- Total Word Count on Page
If there are any other factors worth monitoring (and I'm not saying all of these are worth monitoring) speak up now.
Another thing I'm interested in is the percentage of text which is linked. Not aware of a tool out there that checks this.
For example, if we took a page that had just this on it:
