The guidelines have been put into place so as to make this a better community as everybody helps each other. By coming here and telling people to check whatever it is out, this serves no benefit to the comminity.
At the end of the day, it depends what you are after bizness2.
If you just want to come here and do things your way by not following the guidelines, then as I'm sure you know, this serves no purpose and you won't last long.
If you genuinely want a review for your site (which could be feasible), then you must follow the guidelines laid out in this forum.
Oh yes, be honest as well because you will be found out.
At the end of the day it is your choice.

I will agree with that. I am unfamiliar with marketing boards, and more in tune with car forums, where you post anything and everything. Sometimes being honest does not get you the right kind of attention, being smashmyviper.com is my site, by me posting about it, people will critizie it and not give me the information I am looking for. By posing as someone who is interested in advertising with them, people may take a closer look into the website and give a more researched opinion without comments like "Quit it with the free advertising, Your site is dumb it will never work".
My intensions were not to spam or get free attention to the website, so you have to look at that. Im looking for information from a point of view other then me saying straight up I am the owner of the site, hence the reason for posing as another company.
With that said, you should understand that I am not just trying to spam, and just looking for what other people think about it and not having to answer questions directly about the website but more debate it.
