News feed idea - Need your opinion of the concept

I wanted to get some feedback on an idea I had. Any other feedback would be greatly appreciated. If you think I'm crazy and your being honest then I'd rather know now then later.

Here is the general concept:

1. Provide a news feed that can be used on commercial websites
-- most news feeds are for non-commercial use or contain ads
2. Be much cheaper then the competition
-- two of the larger companies charge $2400/yr per category
-- I'm thinking more around $99/yr (or less) per category
3. Data would include headlines, dates and full story content
4. Data would be actual news and not contain ads or links
5. Subscribers could choose from 20 categories
-- top stories, finance, science, health, etc
6. News would be pushed (POST'd, etc) out to subscribers hourly
-- less bandwidth then linking every hit back to a main website
7. Subscribers can store and use the data any way they like
-- except reselling as content
8. Subscribers could incorporate directly into their own content

My questions are:

1. Will this idea work?
If yes then ..
2. How much could I charge? (5/mo, 50/yr, 99/yr, etc)
3. Do I charge per category? (25/yr/category?)
4. How can I market this idea?
5. Would an affiliate/commission program work or just complicate things?

Thanks
