Would that not depend on what type of website, info is good for information sites but less good for commercial websites. I believe you should use the correct extension for your target market.
Travel on the internet is a hard one to crack, people will be searching for where they want to go and not necessarily where they are. You will have to find a nieche if you want to get anywhere.
