I'm not an expert in this field but I know enough to let you know a Trademark is always delivered for a given country.

Since over 192 countries can emit Trademarks, some more easily than others, it's important that you identify which jurisdictions you need protection in.

Once you get your Trademark protection (between 3 months and 2 years for your answer, depending on the country), you'll need to be able to defend it in court, in the event it's infringed upon. Needless to say this can be a major budget drain, not to mention a colossal waste of time.

Just sending in a Trademark infringement letter to the infringing party will seldom make the "abuse" stop. It'll frequently turn into a battle where you're de facto going to need to "defend" your argumentation.

If you want the easy way out through a Trademark Office (usually lawyers), you'll need to invest between 5k$US and 10k$US to have the proper paperwork filled, sent and followed-up upon, per country.

All in all, you're the only one who knows if this is all worth it for you.

If you're just looking to protect web content, perhaps this -very affordable- service could be enough. It's a far cry from a full Trademark application but if you have a limited budget, it can be a start.
