Alternating paragraphs -- Any thoughts on this?

I read online that Google and Yahoo love it when a page is updated often. That's partly why forums usually tend to show up higher in the rankings.

Here's what I did:

On one of my product pages I have 5 paragraphs of text describing the product. The entire page contains about 1500 words total. I then wrote 15 "alternate" paragraphs about the product that basically say the same things (just in different words), and on my product page I placed two PHP scripts that will each show different paragraphs at different times.

Both the second and fourth paragraphs alternate. I have the second paragraph set up to alternate once a day, and the fourth paragraph alternates 12 times a day. I don't think this is violating Google's rules... let me know if I'm wrong.

Do you guy's think this will help? I think having them alternate at different time increments should give some type or randomness to the page. If it doesn't work, I still think it's a neat experiment.
