Too many websites? No you won't get banned for that.

Google would prefer that your site have more content than ads. Make sure it doesn't look like some article farm or like everyone else's sites as there are too many sites out there with the same exact layout, format, and content because of these types of cookie cutter formats.

If you're going to have that many sites, keep the tagged in adsense by channel, and keep track of your statistics. That's how you know which one's working and which one's you need to edit some more. Just my $
