That depends largely on the collective size of your files.

You can get a 1GB USB memory key for under $100 CAD these days and there are 2GB-4GB models available. This would be my preferred method if your data files fit because it's small and easy to copy the files over.

If you have more than that, then you should look at an external USB hard drive. It will be big and bulky, but it has more space.

I can direct you to free software that will do an automated file copy for you. You can schedule it if the USB storage is always connected. Or, you can manually launch it whenever you want to back your files up.
