playing with duplicated content is a game that i dont dare to play, i cant answer that question but i advice you to do not copy and past another website content.

But lol to be honest i didn't get your second point clearly...

Anyway googlebot is smart enough (well programmed/well structured/optimized by so many experts) to detect any kind of CSS tricks or duplicated content inside of your website from other sites.
