I was a diehard Panda fan for years, but the last update caused some major issues with my computer so I left. I bought McAfee for my other computers and it's been doing really good. gonna install it on here after I get Norton uninstalled -- anybody know if I'm going to run into any issues doing that, since someone said Norton was really hard to uninstall? what should I look for?

After you've uninstalled and rebooted, look for any...
Norton entries in the Add/Remove programs applet
Norton services that are running
Norton folders on your hard drive
You will probably have Norton or Symantec folders after uninstalling because most software will leave some files behind after uninstallation. This is not a Norton specific problem. Most software companies do this.
You can also run Hijackthis and post your log in the hijackthis thread. That will tell me if Norton is still hanging around.
