James, good idea. But to make it really good experiment you should make it have ZERO links, except from article stuff.
I am going to be doing this type of test with a new SEO resource site I put up. Not really a site I seriously want to promote, so I figure it would make a good test subject site for testing free directory submissions.
I have seen website penalized after submitting to 500 or 1,000 of those free directories, so I want to do that to this site and see what happens.
