I do the anchor text in the author box. You never know when a serious web site is going to like your article like I did with the wedding article.
I just did a search for my article to demonstrate and found these scumbags using my article stripped of the links:

They are registered at GoDaddy so if I complain about them they might get shutdown for a while...
