It reminds me of a news story I saw (local) that wasn't a TV show, but just a single story. A cop in plain clothes tries to entice children to go with him, away from their front yard, into his car, etc. It was alarming how many (supposedly) street proofed kids just went with the guy.
My kids were totally the opposite and managed to take complete advantage of everything they learned.

When my middle son (who is now 20 years old) was about 4 years old, he started throwing a temper tantrum in the middle of the store. I finally picked him up (arms and legs flying everywhere) to carry him out of the store. At the top of his lungs, he began screaming,

"HELP ME THIS IS NOT MY MOM!"

I have faint memories of wanting to tell security he was right. I had never seen the kid before in my life.

It took nearly 2 hours to sort the whole thing out.
