I would say Folsom, CA where I live is an awesome place to live but the cost of living is WAY to much for what you get, and the price increase has gone all the way up the mountain to Lake Tahoe

I was looking at Alabama (some random city) and for 150k you can get 5 acres, 2car garage + other garage, 2400sq.ft house... now would the QOL be the same as CA probably not but is it "that bad" ?? These are things I`d like to know
Huntsville, Alabama is considered to be the Silicon Valley of the south. We have the Space & Rocket Center, NASA, and Redstone Arsenal Military Base along with Research Park, which is an area much like Silicon Valley with Businesses such as Adtran.

The Quality of life is very good. Low crime rate, high income compared to living costs.
