I am pleased to inform everyone that Google has FINALLY started indexing my site. I submitted a sitemap per Google's format, resubmitte my url for the millionth time, resubmitted and created a robot.txt file per there format as well today and earlier I noticed their bot poking around. Now I'm not sure if any of this had anything to do with it since Google responded so quickly or if it was just the 50 day waiting period but something worked.
Thanks for all the help guys, now I just have to work on keyword ranking and research. I hope this helps anyone else out there having trouble getting Google to notice them!
