I'm testing this out as it was suggested by another forumite who had read this thread. If you view the source of the google page you will see there is no tracking on the link so that final step will make no difference.

For what it's worth I followed steps #1, #2 and even #3 at 11:09. The screenshot was taken at 11:27. I'll check back at 13:09 and see what has happened...
