Niche directories are much harder to get attention for.
This has been my experience in the last few dasy since i started promoting mine.
But there are jsut soooo many general directories that I start to think they will become redundant faster than a niche one.

Of course many here will bark at me for saying this, but its worth having a look at some directories out there and try telling one from another...

I am going all out for my niche ones. I target a specific market and, although harder to get started, i believe in the long-run I may just gain more from it. I also believe niche are (or I aim for them to be) more user-friendly and because people are already interested in the subject, its likelier they linger for longer in your directory...

Could be wrong...we'll see!
