Heh, I was only making a comical jab 'cause I think the whole "I won't buy from PHP-based sites" thing is a tad bit rediculous...
aaaalmost flamebait with the amount of devout PHP codemonkeys there are amongst us (myself being a PHP codemonkey-in-training). Ofcourse, I understand the premise (and Spyder, I completely respect your right to your opinion on this. It's a valid point), but I don't think you can blame the language for inanely bad coding and those who would exploit it for their own illicit monitary gain. it's just all too paranoid of a view for me to have myself. As a rule, I don't really trust any security 100% no matter what website I'm on, what language it was coded in and if it requires a third party such as PayPal to handle it's merchant arm. PayPal itself has had countless instances of hackers, phishers and scammers using its services to exploit the user. And it's coded in Perl if I'm not mistaken.
Ultimately, bollocks to what a site is coded in... IMO they're all potentially exploitable no matter what checks and security functions are in place. *shrugs*
