just to give some info about people trying to hide there ads... a yearly poll (on 11 years now) states that 94% of web users hate hidden ads.

When people see ads that stick out, they can ask them selves... "Do I want to stay at this site or do I want to leave?" Forcing people to leave your site shows how much you don't care about them!

Then top 2 thing people did like about some ads is that they:
# identify themselves as advertisements (very clear and to the point! as in not hidden)
# indicate what will happen if people click on them
