I don't think it has anything to do with CTR, or the likes. It's all about the topic. if advertisers pay $.10/click. you make pennies. If advertisers pay $45/click, you make bucks. My tech site and law site easily get the $1 clicks but with lower traffic. My tv show site got lots of $.03/clicks and my dog site gets avg $.20/click. None of them are making me rich, but hey... the occasional $100 check is always cool
