I don't use Win2000 but an option like that might be found like this:
On the top menu on IE6 click the
Tools option, and then choose
Internet Options at the bottom of the expanded menu. In the dialog box that pops up click the
Advanced tab. Somewhere in that list should contain the option to turn this feature on or off.
