Lol - John's post is probably as succinct as it can be Affnice - you can do more of the same, in variation.
Of course, since on-page optimization is finite, off-page optimization (getting more incoming links or "backlinks") is the key to generating higher page rank. I like article directories and article submissions.
Other forms of submissions include submitting to social bookmarking sites like del.icio.us or technorati.com.
Lately, I've been looking at building my own sites with page rank and utilizing my own resources to get higher page rank for new sites.
How you use the page rank eventually depends, then.
