With the burn tool, in Photoshop

I would set brush size to about 5, range to midtones, and exposure to about 30%, then do a single stroke along each petal edge, see if that brings it out ...if you don't like it just , edit/stepbackward, as many times as strokes you made, and start over with different settings... it doesn't hurt to play around with the settings, you can always undo your moves (edit/stepbackward).
