I don't see the problem. If I get the $100 worth of v7n stuff, Trapper still gets half. I'm sure he can find something to spend it on. I know I've purchased hosting, directory listings, graphics, and maybe other stuff from here so v7n currency is as good as cash IMO.

I also think you (talking to you John) should be proud of this contest. It was started to change the blog world and in at least a small way it succeeded. If there's anything to regret it's that only two people really took it seriously for the whole length of the contest. I think we can all learn something about keeping our messages sticky - maybe just a good old fashioned reminder (like having people who joing the contest on an email list and sending them weekly updates) would have helped. I know it would have helped me focus on the contest more.
