Avoid SuperUser.net at all costs
I have to say - I too am having a terrible time with superuser.net. I host 2 of my own sites and several client sites there. I recently added a new site & made the huge mistake of letting them purchase the domain name for me. I figured I would move the domain at a later date and save myself some time that day. WRONG! They purchased the domain & placed a registrar lock on it (which I specifically asked them not to do in the sign up form)...and now they are ignoring all communications and despite numerous requests they have not removed the lock.
I have notified the Better Business Bureau and am hoping for a civil resolution to this...but not counting on it.
Unfortunately my next step is going to be getting my credit card company involved. Having been in business long enough I know I can refuse the charge and put a block on them charging anything further. This will certainly get the first part settled, as they will cancel my account immediately...but then I have to clean up the hosting mess & reclaim my domain name.
Needless to say - I am not happy and I at this point I am going to insist that my clients move hosting companies with me. Business practices such as theirs are shady at best.
My point here - stay clear of them. Aside from the no support issues - they employ seedy business ethics.
