I'm kind of trying to follow this idea. I agree high ranks are helpful as Im working on the site for this also. The latest update killed that, but I'm hoping it comes back soon. But in the mean time I've been working on links. My new site ( online just over a month ) has allready pulled out a PR5 with 46 links showing as back links. Now as my domain is not likely to be found in any text unless it is my link/domain listing i can do a search on google for just " itkillsrust" and as of tonight it's showing about 2,890 listings. with 51 links with the rest being omitted results. So they are out there. I have well over 250 out there but are not showing up yet and I know "G" hasn't found them all so Im waiting. But since going out "Link Hunting" the 30 day old site has gone from 100-120 hits a day from mainly PPC ads on google and Overture to the highest hits that closed out tonight at 436 hits. The last 2 weeks have gained hits pretty steady. Even the Alexa rank has been dropping, I don't trust it, but it's following suit also. It's down to 94.123 as a rating. I have a goal of 2000 back links so we'll see how it goes
