Lol forum sigs do generate a bit don't they, I don't think the traffic converts to well for me though as the people clicking the link are normally other SEO's, the best way to get traffic is to optimize for Google, Google is the no.1 generator of traffic to my site, you can do it with Pay Per Click but it costs cash, here is my list of top traffic referers:
