What i stated is exactly what i was told by the township.....my grandfather owns 75 acres right next to it..which is not set aside for conservation...his land is a considered farm property for tax purposes...to which he needs to generate an income of about $1,600 per year from the land to keep that status as farm property because the taxes are incredibly cheaper that way.

He grows shitake mushrooms and sells them at the local market.

But thats what they told me and its complete BS....and thanks for the advice...a lawsuit MIGHT be worth pursuing if that is in fact the truth..
