I have an Eddie Bauer for light travel. It doesn't have a lot of space and pockets but then I have my shiny new 17" beast of a notebook. For longer term or for "boy scout" scenarios where I don't know what I might need so the kitchen sink comes along...I use a Targa bag that I like a lot. Space for everything, pockets everywhere, and one special extradiminsional space for the kitchen sink

I don't know what the Eddie bag cost as it was a gift. The Targa bag was about $90. Had it for a few years so I don't remember exactly.

Chic, you had your bag altered at a SHOEMAKER?? At first that didn't sound right but makes sense. Impressive...I don't think I would have thought of that

Gio, is that really your bag?? The gadget geek in me loves it! I wouldn't buy it but I get a big kick out of it. Course you got the wrong computer but that's a whole different thread
